Diethylenglycol-Mono-Tert-Butyl Ether (DETB 99%)
DETB is an excellent solvent with low toxicity. Because it has two groups with strong solubility in chemical structure - lipophilic covalent ether bond and hydrophilic alcohol hydroxyl, it can dissolve both hydrophobic and water-soluble compounds, so it is called "universal solvent".

Application

1. Used as a coagulant for acrylic resin, styrene acrylic resin, and polyvinyl acetate, it endows paint films with excellent performance and is one of the most effective film-forming agents for many water-based coatings.

2. Used as a solvent for coatings, printing inks, stamp printing inks, oils, resins, etc.

3. Used as a metal detergent, paint remover, lubricant remover, automotive engine detergent, dry cleaning solvent, epoxy resin solvent, and pharmaceutical extractant.

4. Used as a stabilizer for latex paint, an evaporation inhibitor for aircraft coatings, and a surface processing improver for high-temperature baked enamel paint.

5. Used as a cleaning agent, especially in systems that require extremely low volatilization rates, such as wax removers and floor cleaners.

6. It is a good coupling agent for lubricants and oils, and can be used as a paint remover and animal oil remover.
